Keighley has bootstrapped an awards show from nothing by making the entire thing ads. Gotta pay for itself 100x. Which gets put into making next one better. Pacino didn’t used to do these. Every year the #TheGameAwards goes on it will get bigger, more legitimized, more exclusive.
