Battleye, lol. Literally only thing that does is prevent D2 running on Linux.

Yeah, and stupidly other games use it on Linux, literally all Bungie need to do is check a box in their Battleye config and it would work on Linux and therefore the Steamdeck console thing. But, they don't because...Bungie.

@ZS what makes things worse is they made Destiny 2 for Stadia.

So a full native Linux build of Destiny 2 exists already lol.

The big issue is everyone's afraid of Linux kernel exploits being used, but honestly considering that people are hacking anyway and there are tons of PS4 exploits in use right now I'd just enable Linux support.

In the very least I'd either enable Linux support but disable PvP modes and Raids, or I'd stack as many layers of protection as possible (Battleye, Steam Runtime Sniper, etc).
